Program
Starfinder's programs use soccer and a wide range of learning experiences to enhance the personal growth of underserved youth. Our programs serve youths from 1st to 12th grade, who aspire to a higher level of performance as students, athletes, and citizens.
Starffinder's programs are broken out into three age groups: The Future Leaders Program severs 1st-5th graders, the Junior Leaders Program serves 6th-8th graders and the Senior Leaders Program serves 9th-12th graders.
Program participants enhance their soccer skills and strategies through training, competition and other activities that build upon Starfinder's core principles. Participants must exemplify Starfinder's Character of Champions guidelines and embody the values of teamwork respect, integrity, pride, persistence and caring.
Youths in the program participate in projects that improve their decision-making skills, teamwork and motivate them to take responsibility for the outcome of their endeavors. Youth-inspired and facilitated projects are completed, under the guidance of staff and volunteers.
