For three years Starfinder has provided after-school programs for school district children aged 6 through 12 with the goal of helping students learn through their passion. Building on the experience of delivering academic support and enrichment programs in more than a dozen different school-based and faith-based after-school programs in North and West Philadelphia, Starfinder has developed a comprehensive program that delivers an integrated and “soccerized” curriculum to elementary and middle school students. Starfinder will engage approximately 300 students in the after-school programs at 8 different sites throughout Philadelphia .

CLASS : Our goal is to develop and deliver a world CLASS after-school program that supports the goals of the School District of Philadelphia and the Pennsylvania Department of Education. When we say CLASS, we're not just referring to quality, but also to content. Our C.L.A.S.S. curriculum includes the following five components:

- C haracter Education
- L eadership Development through Service
- A cademic Achievement
- S ocial & Cultural Enrichment
- S occer Instruction

Starfinder has partnered with Drexel University, Public/Private Ventures, Congreso de Latinos Unidos, Southeast Philadelphia Collaborative, and various beacon centers in an effort to engage students in its comprehensive after-school programs during the 2005-2006 academic year.

Participants in Starfinder's After School Program receive tutoring in various academic subjects.
