10/9/12: SEPA Soccer Hall of Fame and Starfinder announce partnership
Philadelphia, PA (October 9, 2012) The Southeastern Pennsylvania Soccer Hall of Fame (“SEPA Soccer Hall of Fame”) and Starfinder Foundation (“Starfinder”) announced today a community soccer educational partnership to improve access to youth soccer.
SEPA’s Soccer Hall of Fame’s President Bob Kozlowski explained, “We have joined forces with Starfinder because we believe so strongly in the important work they do to broaden soccer participation and deliver free youth educational programs in the most underserved communities in the region.”
Stephen Baumann, President & CEO of Starfinder Foundation agreed: “Starfinder tries to help kids who too frequently lack the stable relationships to help them learn the steps needed to realize their dreams and become a contributing member of society. Our soccer, educational and personal enrichment programs help the area’s most underserved youth aspire to, and achieve, the highest levels of success, both on and off the field. We are excited to have the Southeastern Pennsylvania Soccer Hall of Fame on our team to generate greater enthusiasm and awareness for soccer in a much larger community.”
